Open file

You may open only one file at a time. To open a different project file, simply press the Open button again.

Opening a project will open the database file you selected. When a project is not open, only the Survey tab is displayed.

New file

The New file option lets you create a new prediction file.

Name your project file so that everyone using the software puts the correct information in the correct project. If your organization has software products that aren’t related in any way, create a separate project for each product.

Delete

This deletes the project from the database.

Edit

This lets you edit information in the project pane, such as the author, etc. Development practices can change over the course of a project — the project pane lets you track the software development phase and similar details. Most project pane information is optional.

Import

To import assessment questions, copy the Import_template.xlsx file to another name, answer the survey questions, then press Import. The Survey tab refreshes with your inputs. Inputs must be formatted per the instructions in the template file — if they aren’t formatted correctly, Requs AI Predict substitutes invalid inputs with default values and provides an export file listing all invalid inputs.

Partial imports are supported — simply delete rows in the template file. For example, you can import only the software testing questions, or only the software design questions. If you import all rows, all inputs in the Survey tab are overwritten.

Export

The export function exports all of your inputs as well as the results. Simply press the button — the exported file name is “Export<Project name>.xlsx”.

Save As

The Save As option lets you save the project that is currently open under a different project name.
