About the founder
Ann Marie Neufelder — Chair of IEEE 1633 and Pioneer of Software Reliability Prediction
Ann Marie Neufelder is the President of Mission Ready Software. She chairs the IEEE 1633 working group, invented the software reliability prediction models that IEEE 1633 recommends, and invented the 6D Common Defect Enumeration software FMEA that SAE J1025 recommends. Every Requs AI product is built on her research.
Standards leadership
- Chairperson, IEEE 1633 Recommended Practice on Software Reliability (named chair in 2013; editions 2016 and 2026)
- Invented the software reliability prediction models recommended by IEEE 1633
- Wrote SAE J1025 FMEA Section 7 on software, and invented the 6D CDE software FMEA it recommends
- Contributor to SAE TAHB0009A Reliability Program Handbook (2019) and the major update of SAE JA1002/JA1003 (in ballot)
- Creator of the Common Defect Enumeration (CDE)
The participants page of IEEE 1633 lists Ann Marie Neufelder as Chair of the working group.
